Alaskan Sole is mild flavored, delicate whitefish that produces fillets ranging from 3 to 6 ounces each. Typically served in white table cloth restaurants, it is a favorite because it can be served saut̩ed, fried, baked or stuffed. Alaskan Sole is one of our favorite fish because it is low in fat, light and easy to cook. Try it stuffed with crab meat or to be extravagant, go all the way and stuff it with lobster meat. This will be a family favorite.
This delicious white fish is harvested around Kodiak Island in the spring and fall by mid water trawl boats. The fish range in size from 8 inches long to over 14 inches head to tail. The fish is delivered in iced totes straight to the dock and then hand filleted, vacuum packed and frozen to preserve the flavor and freshness.
